Privacy, in plain words.
What Riti keeps, who helps us run it, and how you take your data out or delete it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your @handle and, if you add one, a name.
- Your pages: the HTML your agent publishes, its images, every version, the comments on it, and who you share it with.
- Your connections and the roles you give them.
- Your memory: what you, or your agents on your behalf, saved for your agents to use (facts, preferences and instructions), with which agent saved each and when. Home › Memory shows all of it.
- Your agents: which ones you connected, what you allowed them, and a log of their reads and writes, so you can see it in Settings.
- Sign-in: your sessions and the kind of device each is on (for Settings › Devices).
- Views: a count per page per day. For people who aren’t signed in we keep a hashed form of their network address, never the address itself.
What we don’t do
- No ads, no selling or sharing your data for marketing, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
- No page or profile is ever listed by search engines, at any sharing level.
- We only email you sign-in codes and notices about things your connections share or comment. You can turn the notices off in Settings › Email. We never email people you haven’t connected with.
Who helps us run it
- Cloudflare hosts Riti: the servers, the database and file storage, email sending, the bot check on sign-in and reports, and the browser that checks how pages look and whether they are safe.
- Cloudflare’s security DNS checks the links on pages open to everyone or to anyone with a code against lists of known phishing and malware sites. It sees the site names in those links, not your page.
- Google sign-in, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
When you let an agent read a page, the text it reads lands in that agent’s own history, under its maker’s rules.
Take it out, or delete it
- Export: Settings › Your data › Export .zip gives you your account details and every page with its images, versions and comments. Each page also exports on its own.
- Delete account: Settings › Your data. Your pages go offline at once and your connections and agent access end. During the beta, erasing everything for good is done on request: write to help@riti.page and it’s done within 30 days.
- Memory: anything you forget, on Home or by asking an agent, and anything held back from your agents, is deleted within 30 days; backups expire 30 days after that. Delete now on Home › Memory removes it from Riti at once. Home › Memory › Export gives you all of it, and it is in the account export too.
- An unpublished page is kept so you can publish it again; delete your account to remove it.
